BPL Medical Technologies and Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education & Research (SRIHER) have entered into a strategic MoU to strengthen industry-academia collaboration, foster innovation in medical devices, and provide hands-on training opportunities for future healthcare professionals.
The MoU was signed by Dr. Shravan Subramanyam (Managing Director, BPL Medical Technologies) and Dr. Uma Sekar (Vice Chancellor, SRIHER), in the presence of senior leaders including Mr. Guruswamy K (CEO, BPL Medical Technologies), Mr. Amit Nagpal (VP Sales), Mr. Ghanashyam Giri (Zonal Sales Manager), Dr. S. Senthil Kumar (Registrar, SRIHER), and Dr. K. Balaji Singh (Dean, Medical College).

Collaboration Goals
The agreement includes joint academic research, educational initiatives, faculty exchanges, and shared internships. Both institutions aim to co-develop clinically validated, next-generation medical devices tailored for emerging markets, supporting the ‘Make in India’ initiative with an emphasis on affordability and accessibility.
